A fun way for your child to practice correct letter formation. This app is available for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. Use the HWT (Handwriting Without Tears) setting to match classroom instruction.
This Wet-Dry-Try app for the iPad was developed by Handwriting Without Tears, the company that created the manuscript handwriting program used in our first grade classrooms to teach proper letter formation and placement. Please read the reviews on the iTunes store carefully. This app is quite new and we've found that some children can become frustrated with the level of precision that is required by this app. There are two sensitivity levels but the difference between the two is almost indiscernible.
Pocket Phonics provides practice with letter sounds and blending. It is available for the iPhone and iPad. Pocket Phonics Lite allows you to try out the app for free.
